About Ted W Harris

A husband for over 35 years (and counting) with 3 adults who refer to me as ‘Dad’. Recently gaining the title of Father-in-Law and PapaTed (Papatato). I have experienced the ups and downs of family life. A leader in local churches for over 35 years. Serving as senior pastor, youth pastor and assistant pastor in solo pastorates and a part of large teams has enabled me to experience many facets of leadership. My desire is to help others grow and develop as followers of Jesus and leaders in his church. I find great joy watching someone realize their God given ability to impact this world. Life is a journey and it is best travelled together. Join me on this spiritual journey. We both have a lot more to learn.

Eclipsing a Miracle

It happened…again.  That celestial event that had schools closed, airports overcome with travelers, highways resembling parking lots and me suddenly planting flowers in the dark. A total solar eclipse! It was pretty amazing being in the path of totality where at … Continue reading

That’s My Dad!

I had one of those Dads that took an interest in pretty much everything I did. It didn’t really matter what it was. Baseball. Basketball. That one horrible year of football. Wood working. Golf.  My dad may have been my … Continue reading

And When I Run…

Comin’ In Hot!”

I hated to see it! This couldn’t be good! As I backed out of my driveway, a spot appeared from under my truck. Something was leaking and puddling on the concrete. I checked all the fluids and it all seemed … Continue reading

Reflection!

Our family likes to hike. Our vacations to the mountains have always found us on one or two hikes. In fact, one of the first things we do is map out which hikes we want to go on. We pick … Continue reading

Giggles, Fruit and the Source of Joy

I don’t think there is a more joyous sound than the uncontrolled laughter of an infant. Whether it is a game of peek-a-boo, being tickled or the dog is doing something funny.  Baby laughter is the best. This picture is … Continue reading
